*A simple looking man sits leaning against the mayors house. (His small stature and haggard appearance are recognizable by some as a man needing an item found for him on the plane of Nightmare.) He seems to be carefully watching the efforts of these two in building this 'hut'...*

*The New comer turns to Griff as he states:*
"Who ever said I was looking for work? If you wanted that shack to hold up you might want to think about the foundation before the framework."

Walker nods in agreement, but not where griff can see. He is welcome for any distraction from the current conversation, and he knows with griffs mentality, this strangers criticism is enough to diatract.

"Very well oh huffy one feel free to build your lean to on the sand, so to speak, you won't hear a word from me"
*With that this man stands and gathers this meager possessions as he readies to leave.*

:The lack of morning coffie explains alot: walker thinks to himself as he remembers griff tossing his hammer aside and confronting him.

::As if appearing on que, summoned by a spoken need, Kalindyl approaches the mayors home. He seems lost in thought at first, then surprised as he overhears the conversation::
"This is perhaps fortuitous timing. I am attempting to procure more white stone from the Baracour as we speak. As usual negotiations take time, but I hope to have an adaquate supply come market day. I was just coming to leave a report with the mayor detailing the trivial details. But if more stone is needed for foundations I can certainly ask..."
::Kalindyl trails off as he finally takes notice of the haggard man. A look of recognition and realization dawns as Kal goes pale and starts shaking::
"I... I need... I must go..."
::Kal quickly turns to leave muttering to himself. Those with keen senses may make out a barely whispered "is this real?!"::

*the stranger watches as the new comer makes his leave a small smile forms on his face only a moment then it is gone*
"Perhaps I may have business with the Mayor once he is in, for now I will find my rest elsewhere good day..."
*With this said the man turns and walks over to the other side of the mayors house and returns to his seated position there*

Walker notices the elf very keenly. While keeping a close eye on this stranger, walker catches up to kal. "What was that all about?" Walker asks. Then he adds "We need to talk, in private"

::with a pained look on his face Kal looks at and then through Walker before speaking in a rush::
"Would you smile upon the schemes of the wicked? Would you spurn the work of my hand? Do you have eyes of flesh? Do you see as a mortal sees?"
::Kal looks around bewildered, seemingly lost in a familiar town::
"Where is my wife and children? Have you taken them from me again? She killed them you know, my children. Right in front of me... are you real? Am I? Were they? They seemed real. Their blood was warm, their flesh cold, their tortured screams for a fathers salvation no less palpable than you... are you real?
::Kal stares in disbelief at his own hands::

::Kal looks up as if just having noticed Walker::
Ah, Mr. Walker, je vous en pris. I was just on my way to make a report to the mayor about ongoing trade negotions with the Baracour. Was there something I can help you with?

"Ah, kal." Walker says without missing a beat "would you mind if we talked in private for a few minutes?"
