By decree of his Excellency, Duke Ginar Polinar Deralba, the upcoming marketday in the town of Shallowford shall begin with an election. The townsfolk are hereby encouraged to attend and place their names in the running for the position of Mayor, should they so desire. There will then be a vote to see who has the backing of the town. Whoever holds the largest share of votes, shall be the new Mayor of Shallowford! A representative of the Duke will be in attendance to bear witness to this event and instruct the new official in their obligations.
