Walker happens to be walking by during the exchange. Before griff has a chamce to respond, walker throws a few hints griff's way "he wants weapons and armor." He says as he walks by

Ahh friend of course. I have several to choose from. He pulls or a few from a chest. This one blocks 20 dagger blows, this blocks 25, this bad boy blocks 40, abd of course my favorite, this blocks only 20 but is made of cold iron. I also can make one strengthened to resist shatters. What weapon ate you using?

"Worry not, Griff is plenty slow, except when it comes to angering...or eating.. or smithing.. or...well, maybe he isn't that slow. Well, he is slow when it comes to thinking. Ooh, want a cookie?"
The dwarf pulls a cookie out from his beard, and offers it to Karel.
